Predilige piante e arbusti della mwdgforesta pluviale; rinvenuto raramente in giardinicite-ref-murphy298f-1-0[1].

Femmine e maschi hanno pressoché le stesse dimensioni: dai 6 ai 9 millimetri, le femmine sono leggermente più grandi. Le mwfqzampe sono molto lunghe e variamente colorate, anche l'mwfgopistosoma è fortemente allungato e multicolore. I maschi hanno una peculiare mwfwcresta sulla mwgapars cephalica composta di peli e somigliante ad un'mwggacconciatura Mohawkcite-ref-murphy298f-1-1[1].

La E. glorius, descritta nel 1985, ha un carapace color arancio pallido e una mwiqcresta di colore arancio intenso. La parte posteriore del mwigpattern oculare è attorniata da ciuffi di peli bianchi e l'opistosoma è giallo pallido. Le zampe anteriori dei maschi sono di colore marrone con i soli mwiwtarsi di colore giallo vivido. Nelle femmine le zampe sono gialle e la loro parte terminale è neracite-ref-murphy298f-1-2[1].

Le 14 specie oggi note di questo genere sono state rinvenute in mwkgAsia sudorientale: ben 11 specie sono mwkwendemismicite-ref-salticidae-2-0[2].

Rimosso dalla sinonimia con mwmgViciria mwmwmwnaThorell, 1877 da un lavoro di mwnqPrószynski del 1984 e dallo stesso aracnologo considerato un sinonimo anteriore di mwngTaupoa mwnwmwoaPeckham & mwoqPeckham 1907 con trasferimento della mwogspecie tipocite-ref-salticidae-2-1[2].
